Nice

Good stuff, keep it coming.

To the guy before me: real DnB IS repetitive. You're lucky if there are more than two beats in a song. Listen to the pros and you'll know what I'm talking about. Part of the greatness of the DnB genre is trying to make it sound good with such little room to work (because it is a relatively confined genre).

I think you've done an excellent job with it. It beats some of the pro songs I listen to, which is saying something. Not long enough, though.

DomesticTerrorist responds:

Awesome, thanks! Yeah pro dnb is pretty repetitive, but it's driving and hard n shit... like Pendulum :D

Thanks for the compliment and review, I'll be finishing this one up this week!

NIce, but

Still can't shake the feeling that this is too similar to the masterpiece of Saint Isaih...

Whoa

Nice, but I have one word for you:

COMPRESSOR!!!

Figure out what it is, and when you do, redo this song using it.

Striker028 responds:

lol well since i'm too lazy to go look for one, i'm just gonna guess that you thought it was either too loud or staticky, and i wish i'd thought of that b4 submitting it to the portal. anyways, i'll remember next time.

Why a Collab?

I'm not sure what Maestro did for this song, but I have a good idea, since I've listened to so many of your songs and know your style.

Anyway I think Maestro was responsible for the drums and cymbal rolls, etc, correct? If you ask me, he/she completely ruined it. The cheap sounding drums with terrible timing and unbearable velocity shifting, as well as mind-blowingly awkward cymbal rolls that didn't even finish, just left off as though it were some cheap techno song.

Remove everything Maestro did, and you will be left with another great masterpiece of yours.

MilkMan-Dan responds:

Maestro was actually responsible for the entire middle of the piece... and the strings and some of the percussion at the end... yes the cymbal rolls were his... but the drums were mine :p.

If there is anything wrong with this piece... it's both of our silly faults.

Thanks for the review none the less...

Ownage.

Nice!

What program is this? I must have it. I can't do stuff like this with FL yet and I've been at it for 2 years (not saying I can't best it, just that I can't get some of the effects lol).

Keep it up.

Creamy-T responds:

reason. i'm gonna have to say i like it way way better than FL. anything i made before veria is FL...it's just not the same. then again, maybe i just never figured it out.

thanks for the review

Yay!

Yay! After sifting through the crap I've finally found something good.

Thanks.

Very good, nothing else to say really. Like to see more like this (but still original). Oh, and one thing that I thought you did a particularly good job on was the bass. It's not often you get to hear a descent bass run in a song anymore. Drums could use a little more diversity, though (toms).

Creamy-T responds:

thanks a lot! it's hard to find something original to do with electronic music (at least it is for me), and i'm glad it sounds that way to you.

i agree about the drums - something about this song just seemed unfinished in general. i couldn't quite pull enough drum stuff together for it to really mesh well unfortunately, but i liked the parts too much not to upload it.

Ermmm

Please practice a bit more before you start uploading.

I'm not putting you down or telling you to give up, I'm just saying it's better not to upload your first few creations.

Finally

Boy Newgrounds is getting more and more popular, and we're getting more and more CRAP MUSIC. I mean the real shit that clutters the top of the charts ranked at 5.

It's nice to see something with some effort in it for once!

Thank you!

animeraven responds:

thanx for ur review

What Techno Should Be

I would love to hear more of this kind of stuff from you! There are too many techno songs (even ones that get high ratings) that have so little substance to them and really sound so unoriginal.

This is original and I think this is what techno should sound like.

Also - good job of building into it, I like how it starts slow, then like you said, gets louder and more complex.

GameQber responds:

I'm considering doing some more work in the techno/dance/ambience area. Depending on how well this one is liked will most likely decide whether I continue. Thanks for the support!

Amazing!

The best thing I've heard since PoE.

Very different and unique, and perfectly pleasing to the ear. Keep it up :)
